PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Necromancer Brewing Company announced it will close its Ross Township brewery after just three years in business.
The brewery announced on its Instagram page that it has taken some time to think about its future and has made the difficult decision.
The brewery announced on Facebook last week that it would be closed this week to fix an issue with its liquor license.
They said the closure was an unfortunate financial situation that could not be taken lightly and was not a reflection of the effort everyone had put into the brewery.
The brewery’s closure also means plans for a Midnight Whistler pub in Greenfield will not come to fruition.
The brewery will be open for the final two days, Thursday and Friday, from 4pm to 10pm.
All beers are available for unlimited drinking or take-out, with a limit of one case per person.
If beer is consumed on premises, it must be done in a responsible manner.
The brewery says it will have a virtual tip jar with all proceeds going to staff.
Goods and glass products will also be on sale.
