Buena Vista University students and faculty earned a total of 30 honors at the University of Iowa Media Association Conference held earlier this month.
BVU is one of the universities in Iowa with a student media outlet that annually participates in the ICMA Student Journalism Competition, which is judged by experts in radio, newspapers and television. The BVU student earned 10 first-place awards throughout the night in categories including video newscast, experimental video, long-form audio storytelling, multimedia storytelling and best air personality.
