Anchor has appointed Julia Mixter as executive director of business services.
Mr Mixter joined the not-for-profit provider of housing and care for older people in May and has been transformation director at Raven Housing Trust for more than five years. During that time, she led business transformation programs to better serve customers, increase cost performance, and reduce operational risk and waste.
He has over 20 years’ experience in senior human resources roles and was previously HR Director at the Royal Automobile Club. Mixter has also served as Head of Human Resources and Operations at the Children’s Trust, a medical charity, and as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner at Transport for London. In addition to her professional role, she also volunteers as a trustee of the Royal College of Church Music.

Mr Mixter added: “I am delighted to be joining Anchor and am very much looking forward to bringing the experience I have gained within the housing sector and in my previous roles to the world of senior housing and care.”
She replaces Kate Smith, who left the provider to take up the role of chief executive officer at Connexus.
