The coffee shop is just down the street from one of the biggest exams of the year.
SANTA FE, N.M. — Santa Fe coffee shops are seeing a turnaround thanks to a trial of Rust.
“Some customers would come in and say, ‘How are you doing?’ And they’d say, ‘Oh my God, something crazy happened that I can’t talk about.’ And we’re like, yeah,” said Che Tsong, who works at CrashMurderBusiness Coffee.

The coffee shop is just down the street from one of the biggest exams of the year.
Tseng said the shop is used to lawyers and jurors coming in for a cup of Joe before and after court, but recently the number of customers has increased, many of them non-locals.
“Usually we have a good amount of business coming from that area. But definitely it used to be busier, almost weekly,” she said.
Local and national news outlets are in camp for the trial of set armorer Hannah Gutierrez Reed, charged in connection with the deadly “Rust” set shooting.
Mr Tseng said some of the visitors are now daily customers, which is welcome news at what is normally a slow period for Crush Murder Business Coffee.
“Wow. This time of year is usually the least busy because it gets colder outside and people don’t go out as much,” she said. “And I think people are trying to spend less money. So it’s really great to be able to have such a positive impact,” she said.
