The Progressive Novi Boat Show will recruise to the Suburban Collection Showplace from March 14th to 17th and will feature a full range of promotions and activities in addition to boat displays.
Among the new features are a new “Hey Barbie” photo opportunity with a custom Wilson Marine boat, a Flip Flop Ville show featuring a tribute to Jimmy Buffet and a ride to cancer research. This includes a Flip Flop Fling contest to raise funds for.
The reopening event is Water Rollers, where kids can rock and roll on the water. Water rollers cost $5 for 5 minutes.
Other activities offered at the boat show include:
- Harbor Market offers upscale shopping for lake lovers.
- This is a free boat safety course. Advance registration is required, please click here.
- Kids Crafts offers paintings, backpack crafts, and ways to stop the spread of aquatic invasive species.
- United States Power Squadrons Boating Skills Virtual Trainer. Not only will participants be able to pilot the Boston Whaler on a virtual lake, they will also be able to learn how to use this technology to depart from port, dock, and navigate through strong winds.
Additionally, sustainability exhibits include information about how the Michigan Clean Marina Program works to stop the spread of invasive species. Information on shrink-wrapping winter boats and fiberglass recycling will also be included.
The Progressive Novi Boat Show is owned and produced by the Michigan Boating Industry Association in Commerce Township. Proceeds from the event go back to funding the interests of boaters through MBIA’s programs and services.
Regular admission is $12 for adults, but children 12 and under are free when accompanied by an adult. Opening hours: Thursday and Friday: 2pm to 9pm. Saturday: 11am to 9pm.
