STAPLES — Author and forensic psychologist Frank Weber gave a presentation about his latest book, “Hillman’s Haunted House,” Thursday, Feb. 15, at the Great Regional River Library in Staples. His latest work is based on the true story of a group of teenagers who each bravely return to the house where an unsolved murder took place. Weber shared the victim’s survival story that led to the solution of this authentic crime thriller. Weber gave a live presentation of lie detector tests and talked about his own work in both forensic science and writing.
Weber specializes in homicide, sexual assault, and domestic violence cases. He uses his unique understanding of how predators think and his knowledge of victims’ trauma and testimonies to write authentic crime thrillers.
